DIRECTED BY MIQUEL G. FONT SINCE 2010
Since 2008, combining it with his career as a dancer around the world, Miquel G. Font was creating both short pieces and entire productions under his own signature, Habemus Corpus. Despite combining it with other entities that invited him to new creations or remakings of his existing repertoire, Habemus Corpus remains as his artistic personal platform as a laboratory for testing new lines, methodologies and external collaborations, whether as choreographer, composer or mentor. In 2023 he inaugurates a new creation factory called L'Era de Cervera, main location for his works, workshops and research.
AGENDA 2024
This next summer 2024, Habemus Corpus is opening the first INTERNATIONAL RURAL DANCE CAMPUS, a full week of artistic and creative research in an isolated, protected and genuine environment surrounded by nature in the Central Catalonia.
During that time there will be workshops of various creative methods and techniques, the creation of a new piece by G. Font himself at the open-air countryside and the drone recording of the piece in different magical rural locations. For 6 days and 6 nights, the participants will not only have an immersive experience within creativity but will also have an international exchange 24/7 with other artists from the dance field. A good way to get to know HC’s philosophy and using this experience as a both sides’ audition.
Directed to preprofessional and professional young dancers, it will be whole immersive enriching experience in which time will be relativized and so creativity shall become freedom of expression out of the contexts today’s dancers usually live.

The most Habemus Corpus' dynamic and entertaining piece returns with a new and updated vision adapted to you times. New characters in the plot, new themes to be dealt with and new endings of history about to be revealed. With an experience of more than 20 performances in Catalonia and Spain, this time it will be seen for the first time in MACRO format, in the Gran Teatre de la Passió de Cervera, where young people from the province of Lleida will travel with the 5 emblematic characters of this story that leaves no one indifferent.

L'ERA DE CERVERA -
I LA MARATÓ DE TV3
On December 16th, the recently opened Cultural Center, L'Era de Cervera, a resident space for Habemus Corpus company, organizes together with La Paeria de Cervera and many entities in the city, a benefit gala focussed entirely at La Marató de TV3 at the historic Paranimf of the University of Cervera. The gala will include guest artists and various cultural entities of the center of Catalonia present Dance, Live music and Theater, interviews, etc. This event will have two more celebrations on February 3rd at the Casino de Calaf and on February 17th at the municipal theater Ateneu d'Igualada.

PEDRA DE TARTERA 2024
The delicate but visceral opera prima by PAU’A’M will return this season on stage. With video projections directed by Miquel G. Font and a stage and the very identifying costumes, this piece of dance, poetry and audiovisual that is accompanied by the exposition of Maria Altimira Marfà, will once again leave its imprints at the end of the 2023/24 season.

PEDRA DE TARTERA
- A production by Pau a. m. -
The young emerging talent of Pau a. m., in addition to already possessing experience as a dancer/professional in large-bore productions under the direction of Miquel G. Font, he now enters his own literary world as an edited poet. Based on one of the chapters of his last poem Caurem, Pedra de Tartera presents a raw view of the world today in rural areas. With a delicate combination of classical music, audio-visual documentaries, recited poems and a scene of raw purity, this multidisciplinary show also adapted to hearing impairment enters a world where simplicity invites us to reflect on various factors of modern society.

- Original Sound Track of AMNEA -
In September 2021, Habemus Corpus was due to premiere on the fact Cultura de Terrassa the second part of the trilogy MIDWAY which began with its first chapter AIRE along with GREC - BARCELONA FESTIVAL. Due to COVID-19, such a premiere could not be held.
By Miquel G. Font's involvement in the PAR program in Dansa as Artistic Coordinator, instead of this second part called AMNEA, other productions were created, such as Bolero and Coppelia. Due to this suspension, G. Font is taking advantage of rewriting the AMNEA Requiem, titled PATH TO REDEPTION, intended to be completed and released along with the entire choreographic piece in June 2024 by Coral *Ginesta de Cervera.
